What began as a lifelong childhood fascination with wildlife has evolved into a leading ecological design brand. Built on the foundation of over 15 years of professional experience in ecology, sustainability, and landscape creation, Niche specialises in designing and manufacturing technical nature-based solutions. Today, we are proud to be widely recognised as producing the best biodiversity products on the market for both commercial and domestic applications.
At Niche, our products are born out of a profound understanding of invertebrate ecology. We are not just making garden ornaments; we are creating highly functional, technical habitats that deliver measurable results for nature. Every product in our range is designed with the biological needs of solitary bees, wasps, and other essential invertebrates at its very core. Function always dictates our form.
To bring these technical designs to life, we are fiercely committed to sustainability. All of our habitats are crafted using sustainably managed, UK-grown timber.

We also recognize that Niche follows in the footsteps of incredible pioneers in the biodiversity space. Trailblazers like George Pilkington, Green and Blue, and John Little of the Grass Roof Company inspired our early journey. Today, as we prepare to exhibit at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show, Niche is proud to be taking the baton—leading the charge in integrating habitat into everyday infrastructure and landscapes.
