Niche Debuts at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show: Bringing Commercial-Grade Biodiversity to Your Garden

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Niche will be making our debut at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this May! For years, our Herefordshire-based family business has been the trusted name in commercial landscape architecture, supplying premium, technical habitat for world-class venues and public infrastructure. Now, we are bringing that exact same level of ecological engineering directly to the home gardener.

Our mission has always been simple: function comes first. We believe that whether you are designing a Premier League stadium or planting a suburban back garden, you deserve the best nature-based solutions available to support our vital pollinators and local wildlife.

A Stand Designed for Nature

To mark our Chelsea debut, we have collaborated with award-winning designer Callum Corrie, who regularly partners with Niche on creative ecology landscaping projects. Callum has designed a breathtaking trade stand that perfectly showcases how technical ecological interventions can seamlessly integrate into beautiful, high-end garden design.

If you are visiting the show, here is a sneak peek at the pioneering products we will have on display:

The Iconic Niche Beepost: From B2B to Your Backyard

Chelsea will mark the official home-gardening launch of our highly respected beepost. Often, well-meaning gardeners purchase a standard bug hotel or insect hotel, only to find it lacks the specific biological requirements to actually support local invertebrates.

Our bee post is different. It is engineered specifically to replicate the natural deadwood environments required by cavity-nesting solitary bees and solitary wasps. Made from sustainable, UK-grown timber, it goes far beyond the aesthetics of a basic bee hotel, offering a scientifically sound breeding environment that genuinely boosts local biodiversity.

Ground-Breaking Sand Planters

Did you know that the vast majority of solitary bee species actually nest underground? To support these crucial species, our stand will prominently feature our innovative sand planter range. These planters provide the perfect, free-draining bare soil conditions required by ground nesting bees and solitary wasps, offering a stylish and highly functional way to support ground-dwelling pollinators in any space.

The Multispecies Bird Tower: A Statement Piece

For those managing large gardens, private estates, or public open spaces, we will be showcasing a true architectural centerpiece: our UK-made Multispecies Bird Tower. This towering structure is a powerhouse for biodiversity net gain, specifically designed to support vulnerable aerial insectivores including house martins, swallows, swifts, and even roosting bats. It is the ultimate statement piece for landowners serious about impactful, large-scale ecological support.

Win a Niche Bee Post!

We want to help as many people as possible kickstart their own ecological journey. If you are attending the Chelsea Flower Show, be sure to visit the Niche trade stand! We will be running an exclusive competition throughout the week where visitors will have the chance to win their very own commercial-grade beepost to take home.

Whether you are an industry professional, a landscape architect, or a passionate home gardener, we cannot wait to meet you, talk ecology, and show you the future of technical wildlife habitats. See you at Chelsea!
