One Month On: How RHS Chelsea Recognition Has Accelerated Growth for Niche and the Bee Post
It has been just over a month since Niche was named as a finalist in the RHS Chelsea Sustainable Garden Product of the Year 2026 awards for our Bee Post and the impact of that recognition has exceeded all of our expectations.

Being selected as a finalist at the world's most prestigious horticultural event provided an invaluable platform to showcase how innovative landscape products can play a meaningful role in supporting biodiversity. The recognition from the RHS helped place the Bee Post in front of landscape architects, local authorities, developers, contractors and environmental organisations from across the UK and beyond.
Since Chelsea, interest in the Bee Post has grown significantly. We have seen a substantial increase in enquiries from landscape professionals looking to integrate biodiversity-led features into their projects, alongside growing demand from organisations seeking practical solutions that contribute to environmental and sustainability objectives.
The attention generated by the awards has also helped strengthen Niche's position within the landscaping sector. Over the past month, we have welcomed new customers, established valuable industry connections and opened conversations with organisations that share our commitment to creating nature-positive spaces.

The Bee Post was developed to address a simple but important challenge. Standing deadwood habitats, which support thousands of invertebrate species including solitary bees and beetles, are often absent from modern landscapes. By replicating these habitats in a durable, attractive and practical format, the Bee Post enables biodiversity to be designed directly into urban and commercial environments.
“As awareness of biodiversity net gain, habitat creation and sustainable placemaking continues to grow, so too does the demand for products that can deliver measurable ecological benefits. We have seen a substantial increase in enquiries from landscape professionals looking to integrate biodiversity-led features into their projects, alongside growing demand from organisations seeking practical solutions that contribute to environmental and sustainability objectives. The response following RHS Chelsea has reinforced our belief that the industry is ready to embrace solutions that combine functionality, aesthetics and environmental value.” Dominic Knower, Founder & Director, Niche.

Whilst being named a finalist was a proud moment for the entire team, the real success has been seeing the conversations, opportunities and projects that have followed. One month on, the recognition continues to create momentum for both the Bee Post and Niche as a business.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. The past month has been an exciting chapter in our growth, and we look forward to continuing our mission of creating innovative products that put biodiversity at the heart of landscape design.
