Habitat for cavity nesting solitary bees and solitary wasps. Our bee hotels are designed to provide habitat for cavity nesting solitary bees and the wider ecological community of invertebrates that are associated with these organisms. Cavity nesting solitary bees and wasps usually nest in dried hollow plant stems and old beetle larvae holes created in dead and decaying wood.
By installing a bee hotel in a landscape, garden, or urban space, we can replicate this deadwood habitat in a compact form and provide the necessary conditions for these critically important pollinators to complete their life cycle. In addition, we have recorded a variety of beetles, earwigs, caterpillars and other invertebrates using these structures too.
