Functioning as a swift tower and bat tower in one integrated structure, this heavy-duty habitat addresses the critical loss of nesting and roosting sites in the built environment for Swifts, House Martins, Swallows, and bats.

Swifts, Swallows, and House Martins are all species in decline, with the Swift now Red Listed as a bird of conservation concern in the UK due to the ongoing loss of traditional nesting sites in roofs and eaves. All UK bat species are legally protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations 2017, making dedicated roosting provision like this tower an increasingly important feature of biodiversity net gain (BNG) and planning-condition compliance on new developments.

The tower combines industrial-strength engineering with artisan timber craftsmanship. Its dual-part construction features a robust steel column and a beautifully cladded Douglas Fir habitat head.
